Dear members,
Presidents of National Federation/Association affiliated with IBWA

We would like to inform that the Board of Directors IBWA have decided
to shift the venue of the World Championships 2008 from Busan – South
Korea to Lome – Togo (Africa) beside the 3rd World Green Festival of
Traditional Wrestling Sports.
This very event would be held under the patronage of UNESCO, IATWS and
with the active collaboration and support by the Government of Togo
from 12 – 17 November, 2008.
Another, news we would like to share with you is that IBWA has decided
to apply the membership with GAISF to get the recognition from IOC. In
this connection, as one of the requirement by GAISF, we are sending
you the following text, which should be printed on your
Federation/Association letterhead and be sent back to us with next 03
days.
Your cooperation in the matter should highly be appreciated.
Following is the text for printing purposes.

To WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

It is certified that ( your federation name) is an official
representative Federation or Association(what ever the case may be)
of IBWA in your country name. Our federation/association is active
member and participated and is willing to participate in all future
activities of IBWA.

Another requirement is that the member organization which are duly
affiliated with the respective national Olympic committee or the
higher sport authority need to present a certificate to the extend
that your organization is responsible for belt wrestling sport in your
country and have been official recognition by them.
As mentioned earlier, these are the mandatory requirements by GAISF &
IOC. Thus, your cooperation in the matter is solicited. We hope to
receive your prompt response in the matter.
N.B: The General Secretary IBWA Mr.Khan will send you all the complete
details of world Championship 2008 in next week.
